Wild hog (Sus scrofa) are a non-native and invasive species which exists in all 67 counties of Florida; especially on the Lake Wales Ridge. Populations have existed here for hundreds of years. They disturb the soil and ground cover vegetation and leave the area looking like it has been plowed. They also tend to carry seeds of invasive plant species with them, and add them to the freshly plowed ground. Wild hogs may be trapped, shot or hunted year-round with no fees, licenses or permits required (including when using a gun and light during non-daylight hours).

We, at Three Psilos, Inc., do not relish the destruction of any animals, and understand the problems posed by massive agricultural destruction brought about by invasive, non-native species.

Have an ecologist from Three Psilos, Inc. trap and remove feral swine from your property, under only the highest possible ethical standards. Trapping tends to capture an entire wild hog clan. Once one is trapped, the rest usually follow. A Wild Hog Exclusion Fence with a special hog-trapping gate will be installed on your land until the population is under control.

Feral Hog: Trap & Remove requires a Site Ecology Report or a Site Ecology Recommendation for feral hog and the land in question.

Pricing is per wild hog, regardless of size or age, with a three hog minimum to justify initial setup. Traps are checked and cleared daily. Water is supplied and the animals are never tortured. Wild hog are given to foster homes, where possible.
